Following the success of last year's Christmas Villages, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism has announced that the project will be repeated this year, with seven Christmas Villages across Cyprus.
Deryneia, Polis Chrysochous, Fikardou, Agros, Kyperounda, Kalopanayiotis, and Kalavasos will soon be ready to welcome local and international visitors in a one-of-a-kind, romantic, and festive atmosphere.
The Christmas Villages will have a distinct regional flavor, with traditions, flavors, and creations from each region. Festive food and drinks, artistic events, local products and handicrafts for sale, free experiential workshops on wine and food and crafts, various activities for children and adults, guided tours of the villages, and other surprises will be included.
The Christmas Villages will be open from November 26 to January 15, 2023. (11:00 - 16:00 on weekdays and 11:00 - 18:00 on weekends).
The entire project is a part of the National Tourism Strategy 2030 implementation, specifically the objectives for further development of winter tourism and promotion of rural, mountainous, and remote areas.
