Tania Tsanaklidou, a performer who has left her mark with her voice and sensitivity on some of the most beloved songs of contemporary Greek repertoire, will take the stage on January 18 at the Rialto Theatre.
In a program that will evoke unforgettable performances for her devoted fans, we will once again experience our beloved Tania, captivating us with her enchanting interpretations and charismatic stage presence.
Tania and her friends—Kostas (Nikolopoulos), Vasilis (Panagiotopoulos), Nikos (Papaioannou), and Spyros (Manesis)—come together in this performance as if among friends, sharing their stories through song. Everything happens live on stage: glances are exchanged, emotions are shared, the unexpected becomes routine, and everyone seeks redemption in a song.
The group offers Batida de Coco, Tania dances a samba with the passion of Sultana Fofos, sings about the Fates and the Little Man, and whisks us away from reality as she invites us to "Go Somewhere." Together with her, we—the audience, her devoted followers—are swept along, drawn in by her youthful, romantic, and theatrical energy that simultaneously excites, uplifts, and moves us deeply.
