2. PICCOLINO 2026
Piccolo Theatre is organizing Piccolino, the 4th Two-Day Arts Festival for Children in Nature, which will take place at Val's Place in Gialia, Polis Chrysochous. It is a special festival, unique in Europe, that combines family camping with a rich program of artistic and hands-on activities designed exclusively for children and their families. Visitors will enjoy theatrical and interactive performances, music and creative workshops, a treasure hunt, an introduction to ancient Greek musical instruments, shadow theater, storytelling around the fire with marshmallows, yoga in nature, and many more surprises. The 25th anniversary edition of the Cyprus International Animation Festival Views of the World will take place this year in the beautiful village of Koilani in Limassol district from 7 to 9 August. The festival is one of the longest-running events dedicated to the art of animation in Southern Europe. Every year since 2002, it has presented distinguished films in the Cypriot countryside during their first public screenings in Cyprus, many of which have also been screened and honored at some of the world's leading festivals. Cypriot artists also play a major role through exhibitions, workshops, concerts, and activities for all ages. This year, the international competition programs include 30 films from 17 countries, selected from hundreds of submissions from around the world. The competition program for children and young people includes 15 international films from seven different countries.
