A weak high-pressure system is affecting the region today, bringing mostly clear skies with the possibility of locally increased clouds in the afternoon. Light, isolated rain may develop in mountainous areas. Winds will start off variable and light at 3 Beaufort, later shifting to southeast to southwest, and locally northwest, at 3 to 4 Beaufort.
The sea will remain mostly calm, becoming slightly choppy in some areas. Temperatures will reach 31°C inland and along the northern coast, 30°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 29°C on other coastal areas, and 23°C in higher elevations.
Tonight’s weather will continue to be mostly clear, although some cloud cover is expected, particularly along the coast. Winds will turn katabatic and remain light at 3 Beaufort, with the sea staying calm to slightly choppy. Overnight temperatures will fall to 18°C inland, 20°C on the coast, and 13°C in the mountains.
For Friday through Sunday, the weather will stay mostly clear, with some cloud buildup over the mountains in the afternoons. Temperatures will remain steady on Friday, close to seasonal averages, but will rise slightly by Sunday, exceeding typical levels for this time of year.
