Gastronomos magazine and Kathimerini newspaper proudly present the 11th annual Gastronomos Quality Awards 2025, an institution that celebrates Cypriot gastronomy, the authenticity of local products, and the dedication of the producers who craft them with passion and respect for tradition.
The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the Old Nicosia Town Hall, where Cyprus’s pioneering food producers and culinary creators will be honored.
Each year, Gastronomos contributors travel across Cyprus, discovering, tasting, and awarding products that reflect the island’s quality, innovation, and culinary heritage. This year, the magazine’s 15-member tasting committee, made up of chefs, sommeliers, scientists, and researchers, evaluated more than 80 products using strict criteria.
In 2025, nine awards will be given to outstanding producers, along with one special award recognizing an exceptional initiative.
The Gastronomos Quality Awards are more than just a celebration of great food. They represent a tribute to the hard work, passion, and commitment of Cyprus’s producers. Each award acknowledges the efforts of those who preserve and evolve the island’s unique identity through food.
