A 13-year-old boy was found behind the wheel of a car Thursday afternoon in Limassol, with a 22-year-old woman and a 9-month-old infant as passengers, police said.

According to Limassol traffic police, officers stopped the vehicle on Archbishop Makarios III Avenue and discovered the underage driver. The woman in the passenger seat was identified as the boy’s 22-year-old sister, who was holding the infant, reportedly the child of another sibling. None of the three were wearing seat belts.

All three were taken to the police station. The boy’s father, who owns the vehicle, was called in for questioning.

Police said the father and the 22-year-old woman were charged. The 13-year-old was not charged due to his age.
