Police are investigating a robbery that occurred early this morning in Larnaca.
According to the report, at approximately 4:45 a.m., a 31-year-old man was attacked by two unknown individuals while walking on Tasos Mitsopoulos Avenue near the Medieval Castle of Larnaca.
The victim told authorities that two young men approached him and demanded money. When he refused, the assailants struck him in the face and body before taking a small amount of cash. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to Larnaca General Hospital, where he received treatment and was later discharged.
Police continue to investigate and are searching for the suspects.
