The 14-year-old was walking down the Liopetri-Frenaros road

A 14-year-old walking along the Liopetri-Frenaros road was hit by a passing vehicle at around 13:40 on Thursday.
The child was attempting to cross the road just after getting of a bus, with the vehicle attempting to speed past him.
Preliminary information says the minor was transferred to the Famagusta General Hospital. His condition is deemed serious but out of danger.
