Shortly after midnight, Polemidia police officers conducting crime prevention checks in Limassol encountered a 20-year-old man pushing a motorcycle with its engine off. When approached, the man assaulted one officer by pushing him backward.
Informed of his arrest for assaulting a police officer, the suspect began shouting, swearing, and attacking a second officer. He then attempted to start his motorcycle to flee, continuing to act aggressively towards the police.
The man was arrested and taken into custody for further investigation. The Polemidia Police Station is handling the ongoing inquiry.
