Happy Friday! Here's what to expect as you kick off your weekend:
Today, get ready for a partly cloudy day with a chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms after midday, especially in the mountains and inland areas. Winds will be light to moderate (3-4 Beaufort) but could pick up along the southern coast to strong (4-5 Beaufort) by the afternoon. Expect temps to hit 33°C inland, around 32°C along the south and east coasts, and a cooler 25°C up in the mountains.
Tonight, things will cool down with some patchy clouds. Temperatures drop to 19°C inland, 20°C along the coast, and a chilly 14°C in the higher elevations. Winds stay gentle at 3-4 Beaufort, and the sea will calm down, except for the west where it stays a little rough.
Saturday & Sunday, the weekend brings a mix of sunshine and scattered clouds. But keep an eye out – localized showers and thunderstorms are expected, especially in the midday and afternoon hours. Some storms may even bring hail! So if you're heading out, pack an umbrella just in case.
Temperatures will cool down slightly over the weekend, dipping below the usual averages.
Enjoy your weekend, and stay safe!
