Celebrating Innovation on the Fairway
Aphrodite Hills Resort celebrated on Thursday 4th of September, a new era for golf in Cyprus with the official launch of the island’s first TrackMan™ Range. The exclusive event welcomed golf members and property owners for an evening of celebration. The evening begun with professional demonstrations by golf pros, followed by hands-on trials for guests to experience the cutting-edge technology and ended with cocktail and live DJ music, creating a vibrant and social atmosphere.

With the success of the launch, Aphrodite Hills Resort has already announced a series of TrackMan™ events throughout the year, including Halloween specials, Boxing Day tournaments, and monthly competitions, offering guests new ways to enjoy the facility.
Ongoing and Upcoming Upgrades
With so many exciting upgrades underway, Aphrodite Hills Resort will celebrate all the enhancements in one major event once the full transformation is complete. In the meantime, the resort is rolling out a series of improvements across its golf and sports facilities to ensure every guest enjoys a world-class experience:
• Golf Course Bunker Upgrades: The bunkers across Aphrodite Hills Resort are being carefully upgraded to enhance their aesthetics, playability, and consistency. The first phase, covering the first nine holes, is complete, with work on all 18 holes continuing during the low season. The reconstruction involves removal of existing sand, 50mm excavation with a cut shelf, and installation of advanced Capillary flow drainage systems. Dura Bunker synthetic edging is used to create clean, durable bunker edges that maintain their shape and reduce maintenance. The bunkers are filled with high-quality Sahara sand, chosen for its consistency, excellent playability, and ability to retain a pristine appearance year-round. These enhancements will elevate the look and performance of every bunker while improving maintenance efficiency and minimising disruption for golfers.
• Driving Range Expansion: Six new practice bays are being added to the east of the range, creating more space for players to practice.
• New Golf Academy Building: To the west of the driving range, a dedicated coaching facility will be built, offering two coaching bays that will feature the latest golf training technology like Trackman™ 4, SAM Putt Lab, Smart2Move 3D and - SportsBox Swing Analysis Tool.
• Premium Tee Line Installation: A brand-new tee line is coming to elevate the practice experience, offering golfers the closest feeling to real grass while allowing them to tee up the ball in any position for maximum comfort and performance.
• Starter Hut: Positioned with views over the course, the clubhouse, and a tranquil pond, this new space offers everything from fresh soups and gourmet sandwiches to barista-crafted coffee and refreshing drinks—a perfect stop before tee-off or at the halfway point.
• Tennis Academy Enhancements: New furniture has already been added, and more upgrades planned for the coming months that will also feature a new retail space.
