The daughter of a missing woman is pleading for the public’s help after her mother vanished from Ayia Napa on September 16. Police have also issued an official appeal for information.

The missing woman, 56-year-old Ella Borscika from Latvia, was last seen around 10 p.m. at Nissi Beach. According to her daughter, Ella left the beach on foot to buy food from a nearby café but never returned.

“She only had €50 with her, no phone, no bag, and no passport. She left all her belongings with her partner before walking away,” her daughter wrote in a social media post, calling on anyone who may have seen her to come forward.

Ella was last seen wearing a striped red blouse, navy flared trousers, and woven sandals. She speaks English, Latvian and Russian.

Her daughter has appealed for anyone who may have been at the beach that night or who may have noticed something suspicious since September 16 to contact her or the authorities. “All information is valuable,” she stressed.

Police confirmed Borscika’s disappearance in a statement Thursday, urging anyone with information to call the Famagusta Police Station at 23-803040, the nearest police station, or the citizen’s hotline at 1460.
