A violent incident rocked the Strovolos area of Nicosia early this morning, as a group of intruders launched a brutal attack on a household, injuring four residents.
According to police reports, the attack took place around 2:30 a.m. when approximately five individuals broke into a home and assaulted its six occupants with clubs, knives, and axes. Following the attack, the perpetrators fled the scene.
Four residents, aged 17, 21, 24, and 44, sustained serious injuries in the attack and were rushed to Nicosia General Hospital. Medical staff reported that while their injuries are severe, their condition is stable and they are not in immediate danger.
Police immediately launched an investigation, with forensic teams collecting evidence from the crime scene. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Nicosia is actively pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the suspects.
This shocking incident has left the local community shaken as authorities continue their efforts to uncover the motives behind the attack and bring those responsible to justice.
