23 irregular Syrian migrants who arrived by boat at a Larnaca beach on Sunday night were on Monday transferred to the Pournara camp in Kokkinotrimithia.
According to the police, the boat was spotted arriving at a beach in Pervolia in the Larnaca district at 8:15pm on Sunday.
A total of 23 people disembarked, including 14 men, two women and seven minors.
Police members of the Kiti station, along with members of the Asylum Service and the Civil Defence went to the scene to conduct the necessary checks.
After personal details were recorded, the migrants were boarded onto a bus and transferred to the Pournara refugee camp.
