Clouds expected to increase, winds shift

Temperatures remain mild

Today's weather will be mainly sunny, however, locally increased cloudiness will gradually be observed. At times, there will be increased high clouds.

Winds will blow from the northwest to northeast and locally from southeast to southwest, weak, at force 3, and the sea will be calm to slightly disturbed. The temperature will rise to around 20 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast and around 12 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.

Tonight, periodically increased high and medium clouds will appear, while locally intervals of increased low clouds will be observed. Later, locally thin fog may form, mainly inland and to the east. Winds will blow mainly from the northwest to northeast and locally variable, weak, at force 3, and the sea will be calm to slightly disturbed, but later it will become slightly disturbed in the east.

The temperature will drop to around 9 degrees Celsius inland, around 12 in the southeast and eastern coastal areas, around 11 in the western coastal areas, around 10 in the remaining coastal areas, and around 5 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.

On Saturday, the weather will be mainly sunny with locally increased cloudiness, which may result in isolated showers, mainly in mountainous areas south of Troodos. On Sunday, the weather will be mainly sunny, with locally increased cloudiness in the afternoon in the mountains. On Monday, the weather will be partly cloudy, locally mostly cloudy, and isolated showers or even thunderstorms are expected gradually, while sparse dust may linger in the atmosphere.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly on Saturday, while on Sunday, it will rise, to fluctuate significantly above the average climatological values. On Monday, the temperature will experience a slight drop.
