The dust in the atmosphere is expected to clear on Saturday with temperatures taking a dip, while cloudy skies are here to stay throughout the entire holiday weekend.
The weather on Friday, according to the latest forecast for Cyprus, will be partly cloudy with northeastern and southeastern moderate winds. Temperatures will reach 28° Celsius inland, 25°C in the eastern and northern parts of the island, 23° in the rest of the coastal areas and 22° on the mountains.
In the evening, it will remain partly cloudy with temperatures dropping to 14° inland as well as the coastal areas in the east and south, 16° in all other coastal regions and 13° on the mountains.
Saturday will remain partly cloudy with a chance of isolated, light rain showers.
Sunday and Monday are expected to be mostly clear with scattered clouds throughout the day. Temperatures will markedly drop on Saturday but are expected to move upwards again on Sunday and Monday.
The recent dust in the atmosphere is expected to clear out by Saturday afternoon.
