The Consumer Watchdog has released the price index for basic consumer goods for the month of September.
It is noted that the consumer watchdog records and monitors the prices of consumer goods and products, mainly staples, that are sold in a large number of outlets in all provinces of Cyprus, aiming to give consumers the right information so that they can make informed purchasing decisions.
Consumers are advised to check the selling prices of these products before they go shopping and to choose accordingly. In many cases, price fluctuations are such that family budgets are affected.
