Fair skies and cooler temperatures are expected over the weekend with passing clouds appearing on and off at higher altitudes.
A high pressure system is affecting the area over Cyprus, keeping humidity at low levels and maximum high temperatures in the low 30’s.
Weak to moderate winds could become strong later in the afternoon, while relatively calm seas in the early part of the day will turn to choppy waters later in the day.

Maximum high temperatures will reach around 32° Celsius inland as well as in the eastern part of the island, around 30 on the southern coast, 26 in all other coastal regions, while it be 22 up in the mountains.
Evening skies will be mostly clear with lows dropping down to 16 degrees inland, around 19 out west, 17 in all other coastal regions, while it will be 11 in the mountains at the highest elevations.
Sunday weather will remain fair, with mostly clear skies throughout the day but also increasing clouds at high altitudes. Monday and Tuesday skies will be mostly clear while temperate is expected to rise slightly above the normal averages for this time of the year.
