The Paphos District Court on Tuesday issued harsh fines to five persons who were gathered in a home for a birthday party in Paphos.
Each of the five persons were fined €500 for violating decrees in place in view of containing the spread of coronavirus.
According to the Assistant Chief of Paphos Police Nicos Tsapis, just after midnight on April 4, authorities were notified of the party by a person living in the neighbourhood where the party was taking place.
