The Cyprus Special Olympics Federation has extended its warm congratulations to its equestrian delegation for an outstanding performance at the Panhellenic Equestrian Games, where Cypriot athletes achieved remarkable success and brought pride back home.
Athletes Danae Dimitrova, Mary Tsiolakki and Anastasios Andreou returned to Cyprus with an impressive total of five medals, underlining the team’s dedication, talent and hard work. Their medal haul included two gold, two silver and one bronze medal, earned across the Dressage and English Equitation events.

According to the Federation, the inclusion of equestrian sport in the programmes of Special Olympics Cyprus three years ago is now bearing fruit, and this success is only the beginning. The progress made in such a short period highlights the effectiveness of long-term planning, athlete development and inclusive sporting opportunities.
