A seasonal low‑pressure system and a warm air mass are driving the heat.
After early patches of low cloud and fog lift, skies will turn mostly clear. Winds will blow southwest to northwest, locally southeast to southwest in the morning, starting light and building to moderate at 3–4 Beaufort. The southwest coast could see strong 5‑Beaufort gusts in the afternoon. Seas will be slight overall.

Skies stay mostly clear, though low cloud will increase over western and northern coasts. Patchy light fog may form toward dawn, chiefly in eastern and inland areas. Winds will ease to light, variable 3 Beaufort, and seas will calm to slight, remaining a little choppy in the west.
