The Cyprus taekwondo delegation achieved notable success at the Skopje Open Ramus Taekwondo 2026, a ranking tournament held in Skopje, returning with a total of eight medals across multiple age categories.
In the Seniors (Men) division, Cyprus secured two bronze medals. Andreas Theocharous earned bronze in the -87kg category, while Petros Andreou also claimed bronze in the +87kg category.
At the Juniors level, the team added two more bronze medals. Andriana Ioannou placed third in the -52kg category, and Gloria Ioannou achieved bronze in the -44kg category.
The Cadets category brought the highest medal count for the Cypriot team, including one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. Angeliki Paraskeva won gold in the -44kg division, while Charitini Iosif secured silver in the -59kg category. Bronze medals were awarded to Katerina Pattichi in the -41kg division and Christos Tryfonos in the -49kg category.
In total, the Cypriot delegation earned one gold, one silver, and six bronze medals at the event, reflecting a strong performance across all age groups.
