The Dental School Student Association of European University Cyprus (EUC) successfully hosted the EUC Dental Symposium 2026, held on 7–8 March at the EUC Cultural Center in Nicosia, Cyprus, bringing together more than 350 dental students from Cyprus and across Europe for two days of scientific learning, hands-on training, and professional networking.
The symposium highlighted the growing role of Cyprus as an emerging hub for dental education and healthcare studies in Europe, offering students opportunities to engage with modern clinical practices, research developments, and innovative technologies shaping the future of dentistry.
Hands-on dental education and contemporary clinical topics
The two-day scientific program featured 12 specialized seminars and 14 practical hands-on workshops, providing participants with real clinical exposure and skill development aligned with current trends in dental practice.
Key topics included:
• digital dentistry workflows and treatment planning
• periodontal surgery and implantology
• regenerative endodontics
• esthetic and restorative dentistry
In addition, dental students presented scientific posters, strengthening research engagement and fostering academic collaboration within the international dental student community.
