Eurovision 2026 brings the glam with Victoria Swarovski at the mic

Austria taps a crystal-famous name and a seasoned showman to host Europe’s song contest

Sequins, spotlights and a famous surname are already lighting up the road to Eurovision 2026, with Austria’s public broadcaster unveiling the two faces who will guide Europe through its favorite music spectacle.

Stepping into hosting duties are Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski, a pairing that blends showbiz polish with star power, and, in Swarovski’s case, a name synonymous with sparkle.

Yes, she’s part of the legendary Swarovski crystal dynasty. But Victoria Swarovski has spent most of her career making sure she’s known for far more than her last name. Presenter, singer, entrepreneur, model and designer, she’s one of Austria’s most recognizable TV personalities, and now, one of Eurovision’s.

Swarovski was born in Innsbruck, in Austria’s Tyrol region, and jumped into music early. At just 16, she signed her first record deal with Sony Music, releasing singles and testing the waters as a pop artist. Two years later, she packed her bags for Los Angeles, where she worked with major names in the international music industry, including Grammy-winning songwriter Diane Warren.

Her breakthrough moment with the wider public came in 2016, when she won Austria’s hit dance show “Let’s Dance.” The victory turned her into a household name and opened the door to a long television career. Soon after, she became the youngest judge ever on “Das Supertalent” and since 2018 has been a permanent fixture on the “Let’s Dance” hosting team, one of the most-watched shows in the German-speaking world.

Big TV events followed, including hosting roles at the Bambi Awards and Disney’s 100 Years celebration, while Swarovski also leaned into business, launching her beauty brand ORIMEI in 2020. Fashion magazines quickly took notice, landing her on the covers of Glamour, ELLE, L’Officiel, Gala Style and Forbes, alongside her own design collaborations.

And just in case anyone thought she was sticking to stages and red carpets, Swarovski added a surprise twist to her résumé in early 2026 by taking part in the Dakar Rally, proving she’s just as comfortable with grit as she is with glamour.

With Swarovski’s star power and Ostrowski’s wit, Austria appears to be setting the tone early: Eurovision 2026 won’t just be about the songs; it’ll be a full-blown show.
