It’s a bit of a mixed bag for the weather over the next few days, so keep those umbrellas handy but don’t pack away your sunglasses just yet!
Today kicks off on a bright note, with mostly clear skies across the island. But as the day goes on, clouds will start creeping in. Some areas might get a light shower or even a cheeky little thunderstorm popping up here and there. By late afternoon, the west and north could see scattered rain and storms. Winds will stick to a breezy southwest to northwest flow at 3 to 4 Beaufort, keeping the sea generally calm to just a little choppy. Temperatures will feel quite pleasant—hitting 23°C inland and along the coasts, and a cooler 13°C up in the mountains.
Tonight, things turn cloudier, with rain and thunderstorms making themselves at home, especially in the west and north before spreading to other areas. Winds will shift slightly to a northeast-southeast mix but stay mild at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will stay mostly calm but could get a bit rough in the west and north later. Temperatures will dip to 12°C inland, 15°C along the coasts, and a chilly 8°C in the mountains.
Friday will keep the trend going with cloudy skies, scattered showers, and isolated storms, so plan your outdoor errands accordingly.
Saturday offers a brief break with sunny spells making appearances between cloudy periods. A few showers might drop in for a visit during the day, but the evening has other plans—rain and thunderstorms will roll in from the west and north, spreading island-wide overnight.
Sunday shakes things up. Morning rain and storms will gradually fade, leaving behind partly cloudy skies. There’s still a chance of some lingering showers, but if you’re heading to the higher mountains, you might even catch the first snowflakes of the season!
Temperatures will rise slightly through Saturday, staying a bit above average for November. But don’t get too comfortable—Sunday will bring a noticeable drop as colder air sweeps in, leaving us shivering below seasonal norms.
So, grab a jacket, enjoy the ups and downs, and keep an eye on the skies—this weekend’s weather is bringing a little bit of everything!
