After growing numbers of requests from organized groups and bodies regarding the organization of cultural and political events in outdoor spaces, the health ministry said Wednesday that such events are permitted and can accommodate up to 350 people who must be seated.
The health ministry said cultural events, such as art exhibitions, theatre, music, and dance performances, as well as political events, such as gatherings of members or supporters of political parties, can take place in open-air spaces such as squares.
The events are to be bound by the requirement to strictly follow the health and safety protocols that applied to events organized at open-air amphitheatres.
Such events will be permitted to host up to 350 people, all of whom must be seated, while the seating arrangement will be required to follow the guidelines set out in the protocol governing events at open-air amphitheatres.
