August remains the prime month for holidays, with the period around August 15 being especially popular. Although many now opt for July getaways, the mid-August holiday continues to see the highest demand. These vacations offer a much-needed break from daily routines, helping people recharge for the demanding winter months ahead.

24News has researched and compiled the current accommodation prices for the island’s most sought-after destinations for the week of August 12-18. The prices are for a stay of two adults and one child (age 3). Here’s what last-minute travelers can expect to pay:

Limassol: Prices range from €401 to €16,632.

Larnaca: Prices range from €374 to €13,500.

Paphos: Prices range from €504 to €5,481.

Protaras: Prices range from €688 to €5,593.

Ayia Napa: Prices range from €712 to €3,771.
