Cyprus police arrested three individuals late Sunday night during an investigation into a violent altercation in Limassol. The suspects face charges including conspiracy to commit a felony, rioting, malicious damage, assault causing actual bodily harm, and possession of offensive weapons.

At approximately 11 p.m., authorities received reports of a group of around 30 people engaging in a violent dispute in Limassol. When police arrived, the group dispersed, but not before allegedly throwing stones, firecrackers, and fireworks at a specific residence. A 16-year-old inside the house sustained injuries during the incident.

During subsequent checks, police stopped two vehicles occupied by two 23-year-olds and a 27-year-old, who were found in possession of weapons such as metal bars, pipes, and crowbars. They were arrested on the spot.

The Limassol Crime Investigation Unit and the Polemidia Police Station are continuing their investigations.
