It’s Friday again. Some said it would never come. Even the sun seemed unsure, but here we are, Friday morning, and 5pm is just 10 hours away. That’s not just a number. That’s possibility. That’s summer in your lungs and cold drinks in your hand.
The sky today will be mostly clear, like the universe is in on the celebration. Winds will be whispering from the southwest, then northwest, starting out easy, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and picking up just enough to remind you you're alive, brushing into a 4 to 5 as the day warms up. And warm it is. Expect a blazing 39°C inland, perfect for poolside escapes, and a more forgiving 30 to 34°C along the coasts and in the high mountains. The sea will be calm to slightly rough, just like the rhythm of a good weekend playlist.
Tonight, the stars will be out and the weather mostly clear. Maybe some dreamy fog rolls in for a bit of mystique. Winds calm themselves to a gentle 3 Beaufort, the sea mellowing too. It’s the kind of night made for a rooftop drink or a quiet walk barefoot in the backyard.
The weekend is yours and mine. It’s OURS. Mostly clear skies ahead, with a little extra cloud drama over the mountains in the afternoons, maybe even a rogue shower Sunday or Monday to cool things off, nature’s way of pressing the refresh button.
Temps hold steady on Saturday, still toasty and teasingly above average. But Sunday and Monday they mellow out, sliding closer to the season’s norm, like the weather itself knows it's time to exhale.
So yeah, it’s Friday. Shorts-and-sandals Friday. Laugh-too-loud Friday. Make-a-plan Friday. Do-nothing-at-all Friday. The weekend is just a breath away, so take a deep one.
