Authorities in Larnaca are investigating a violent incident after an injured individual was found on Friday afternoon.
Police were alerted shortly before 5:00 p.m. to reports of a wounded person in the city. Officers responded to the scene and located the victim, who was then transported to Larnaca General Hospital for medical treatment.
According to initial assessments, the injuries are believed to have been caused by a sharp object, possibly a knife. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department has taken over the case and is continuing inquiries to determine what led to the attack and whether others were involved.
