With the first cold days of the season, concerns about heating oil costs have resurfaced, along with the everyday worry about fuel prices. A government Consumber Protection website offers a searchable service for consumers to find the cheapest (and most expensive) options across Cyprus for Unleaded 95, Unleaded 98, Diesel, and Heating Oil, as well as the ability to search by location.
The average price for Unleaded 95 stands at €1.343 per liter, with the lowest price nationwide at €1.278 found in the center of Nicosia, and the highest at €1.409 recorded in Kato Pyrgos. Unleaded 98 averages €1.419 per liter, ranging from €1.329 to €1.569. Heating oil is currently selling for an average of €0.983 per liter, with the cheapest price at €0.919 and the most expensive at €1.139.
