A 72-year-old man was crushed to death by the tractor he was driving after it slid off a cliff and fell 2.5 metres

A 72-year-old man was crushed to death by the tractor he was driving after it slid off a cliff and fell 2.5 metres.

The 72-year-old, Andreas Alexandrou from Nicosia district’s Kato Moni area, lost control of his tractor while he was driving down an agricultural road in Kato Moni at around 10:20 am on Tuesday.

Police are looking into the causes that resulted in the man losing control of the agricultural vehicle, which fell off a cliff 2.5 metres high, and crushed the 72-year-old to death.
