Pedestrian who was struck by a bus in Limassol no longer in critical condition

A man who was struck by a bus in Polemidia on Tuesday, is said to be “out of danger” as police continue to investigate the incident.

According to media reports, a 30-year-old pedestrian was struck by a bus on Tuesday evening around 5:40pm under circumstances that are still not fully known.

The man suffered broken ribs and leg fractures

The man, who suffered broken ribs and leg fractures, was rushed to the Emergency Room at Limassol General Hospital where his condition was initially described as critical.

On Wednesday morning, police told Knews the pedestrian was no longer in critical condition, adding he was “out of danger.”

But police did not say whether the vehicle was carrying passengers at the time of the accident nor was it clear whether it was a minivan or a full-size passenger bus.
