Monday forecast: The weather’s fine, we’re the problem

Partly cloudy skies and fully questionable life choices as we crawl back into the workweek.

Newsroom

Good morning, weather warriors! It’s Monday, the coffee’s strong, and apparently so is my will to pretend I’ve fully adjusted to the end of Daylight Saving Time…last week. Let’s check what the skies have in store while we all try to remember how mornings work.

Today:
Expect partly cloudy skies with some medium and high clouds, like the atmosphere’s trying out layers for fall. Winds will wander in from the southwest to northwest (and on the eastern coast, from the northeast to east) at a polite 3-4 Beaufort. The sea’s feeling calm to slightly rough. Same, honestly. Temperatures are living their best life around 30°C inland, 29°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 27°C in the west and north, and 21°C up in the mountains, where sweaters and smugness thrive.

Tonight:
Mostly clear with a few clouds hanging around, probably gossiping about tomorrow. Winds will chill out (not literally) from the northwest to northeast, light at 3 Beaufort. The sea will remain calm to slightly rough, like it’s also watching its screen time.

Tuesday to Thursday:
Clouds will increase their social activity and might drop a few isolated showers, mostly over the mountains, because apparently that’s where all the drama-free action happens.

Temperatures will stick to their “above average” vibe, proving once again that the weather didn’t get the memo about November.

In short: it’s warm, it’s Monday, and we’re all pretending to be functioning adults again.
