A weak high-pressure system is haunting our region… but don’t worry, it’s more friendly ghost than ghostly gales.
Today: The weather will remain mainly clear, perfect for trick-or-treaters and ghouls on the prowl. Winds will creep along from northwest to northeast, occasionally sneaking in from the southeast, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough, though in the east, it might get a little boo-zy. Temperatures will rise to around 29°C inland (hot enough to fry some witch’s pancakes), around 27°C on northern coasts, 28°C on western coasts, and a chilling 21°C in the higher mountains (where the vampires like to sunbathe).
Tonight: Expect mainly clear skies, though later some high clouds will drift in, like friendly ghosts at a Samhain party. Winds will whisper downslope at a weak 3 Beaufort, and the sea will remain calm to slightly rough. Ideal for nocturnal creatures or anyone hoping their cauldron doesn’t boil over.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday: The spell of mainly clear skies continues, with occasional high clouds, because even the weather likes to dress up for Allhallowtide.
Weekend temperatures: Saturday stays roughly the same, warm enough for a zombie to shed a layer or two. By Monday, a slight warming is expected, keeping the region noticeably above average, so your pumpkins won’t freeze before they rot.
And remember: If the wind starts howling, it’s probably just the werewolves checking in… or maybe us, delivering dad jokes. Either way, don’t be ghoulish. Enjoy the clear skies and spooky vibes!
