‘Wonderful results’ accompany last coronavirus press briefing
Thursday’s coronavirus press briefing was the last to take place, with daily updates to henceforth be issued through Health Ministry announcements.
Health advisory committee member Leondios Kostrikis said “today’s press conference with these wonderful results is the last one [that will take place] after three months. It was an effort filled with intensity, suspense, creativity, and teamwork.”
Kostrikis thanked the President, the Health Minister, the State Health Services Organization, and Health Ministry officials.
“We’re undertaking every effort for the good of the public. As a society, we’re allowed to feel proud.”
Thanking the public for its efforts, Kostrikis expressed the hope that there won’t be a need to meet again under similar circumstances.
“We’re continuing efforts for a total management of the virus and we’re certain that we will succeed.”
