The Presidential Palace has announced more vaccination incentives for young adults up to age 30, who are being enticed among others with a chance to win a free cruise to the Greek islands this fall.

According to the Presidency in the Republic of Cyprus, new incentives have been added to the official list aimed at boosting vaccinations among young adults aged up to 30, while terms, deadlines, and ages vary between companies.

The top prize includes a chance to win a free 7-day cruise to the Greek islands offered by Royal Caribbean Cruises between September and October this year. A total of 20 double cabins will be offered in a draw scheduled to take place in early September, with the lucky winners aged between 18 and 30 asked to pay only taxes.

TUS Airways on Monday drew names for free airline tickets to Greece where 100 lucky winners out of 4610 entries competed for a seat on one of the company’s two Airbus A320

Last month the Cypriot government said it was putting together incentives with the help of companies that would encourage young people to get vaccinated, in addition to state-subsidized hotel stays for those who got the jab.

Other company invectives include a draw for gift cards in retail shops, such as IKEA, Public, Superhome, Ermes, ZARA, as well as telephony company discounts and football tickets.

Cyprus Airways also offered 150 airline tickets, with the company saying the application stage had been completed and those interested and registered would be contacted with further information.

Other prizes include a one-year subscription for theater tickets and pool pass vouchers at Crowne Plaza Limassol’s Health Club.

Over a million individual jabs have been administered in the Republic of Cyprus, with 74% of eligible persons having received their first dose of the Covid vaccine while 66% have been doubly vaccinated.
