Police intervened on Monday after two minors tried to enter a gymnasium (middle school) in Aglantzia. This was the same school where a disturbance involving former students occurred last Saturday.
Authorities said they were alerted earlier in the day to the presence of two young people trying to access the school grounds. A patrol team quickly arrived, located the pair, and took them to the local police station for questioning.
Because both individuals are underage, police noted they are being dealt with under procedures that apply to minors in conflict with the law.
Investigators have so far found no evidence linking the two to last weekend’s incident at the same school.
