Police will step up patrols from June 1 through Sept. 30 as part of a campaign to improve road safety, with a focus on protecting vulnerable road users.
Authorities are urging drivers and other road users to follow traffic laws and act responsibly to help prevent accidents.
In a statement, police said there will be increased traffic checks targeting motorcyclists, moped riders, cyclists, and users of personal mobility devices, such as electric scooters.
The campaign will also include public outreach and information efforts aimed at raising awareness about traffic safety and accident prevention.
