The events transpired on the afternoon of January 4th, when police members stopped a car driven by a 21-year-old Larnaca resident in a village within the district at 5:00 PM.

Upon conducting a thorough search, authorities discovered a substantial 20.669 kilograms of cannabis concealed within the vehicle.

Simultaneously, the YKAN (Larnaca Branch) conducted a separate operation around 5:30 PM on the same day.

They intercepted a vehicle driven by a 57-year-old Larnaca resident, resulting in the discovery of a syringe containing cannabis oil.

The 57-year-old was promptly arrested, and a subsequent search of his home yielded various items that are now undergoing further examination.

Both suspects were re-arrested based on court warrants, and they are currently in custody.

The YKAN (Larnaca Branch) continues its exhaustive investigation, working to unravel the intricacies of this expansive cannabis network.
