President Christodoulides strengthens ties in Belgrade visit

Cyprus and Serbia forge collaborative agreements

Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides embarked on a two-day official visit to Belgrade, welcomed by Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivika Datić. The visit includes a formal welcoming ceremony, a tete-a-tete meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, and joint press statements.

President Christodoulides will meet with National Assembly President Vladimir Oric, attend a dinner hosted by President Vucic, and participate in the 3rd Cyprus-Serbia Intergovernmental Conference. The conference will involve Cypriot ministers engaging with their Serbian counterparts, signing a Memoranda of Understanding in education, science, innovation, and advanced technologies, along with a cooperation agreement between the Diplomatic Academies of Serbia and Cyprus. The visit will conclude with a meeting with Serbian Patriarch Porfirije.
