A low pressure system has moved in over Cyprus bringing chances of rain in local areas, but mixed weather is still the predominant feature with periods of sunshine and cloudy skies all the way through Sunday.
Thursday skies will be mostly clear but cloud formations are also expected around noon and in the afternoon, bringing low chances of showers and possibly thunderstorms in the interior and mountains.
Temperature highs will climb to 32 degrees Celsius inland, around 29 along the coast, while it will be 25 high up in the mountains.
Evening skies will be mostly clear but low cloud formations and possibly thin fog are also expected over local areas. Temperature lows will drop to 17 degrees inland as well as on the southwestern coast, around 18 in all other coastal regions, while it will be 14 degrees higher up.
Friday morning weather will be mixed, with periods of sunshine alternating with cloudy skies which could also bring isolated showers mainly along the coast, while local showers and isolated thunderstorms are also expected later in the day both inland and mountains.
Temperature levels will drop slightly but rise again on the weekend, when mostly clear weather is expected Saturday and Sunday except patches of increasing clouds around noon and afternoon mainly inland and mountains.
