A man reported to police today that he was shot at while driving on the the Nicosia-Limassol highway.
According to the 23-year old, the incident happened around 1:40 am this morning when he was driving from Nicosia to Limassol around the area of Germasogia.
He noticed a car truing to overtake him and as soon as the vehicle reached his side he saw the drive point a short-barreled shot gun in his direction.
The driver of the car fired at the driver’s side door. No injuries were reported, but there was substantial damage to the car door.
The police are investigating the case.
