The investigation surrounding Sandy continues to unfold, with authorities confirming that key testimony has already been obtained and is currently under review.
Police spokesperson Vyronas Vyronos stated on Tuesday (April 14) that authorities know where Sandy is and have taken an initial statement from her. He added that, if necessary, a supplementary statement may also be requested as the case progresses.
“The Police are proceeding with the investigation with the aim of fully clarifying the case and uncovering the truth,” Vyronos said. “We cannot prevent anyone from making public statements or online posts, but our role is to follow the proper investigative process.”
The case intensified following a police raid on the home and office of Nikos Clerides, which triggered strong reactions. However, Vyronos emphasized that all actions taken were lawful, noting that a search warrant had been requested and issued by the court after all required conditions were met.
“The Police acted in accordance with prescribed procedures and within the law,” he said.
Authorities are also in ongoing communication with Europol, which is assisting in the examination of evidence linked to the case.

According to sources familiar with such groups, institutions once seen as centers of knowledge and enlightenment are now, in some cases, perceived as operating with limited transparency, despite presenting themselves as spiritual or educational bodies.
