Search efforts are continuing in Kampos tis Tsakistras for 75-year-old Erato Athanasiou Zizirou, known to residents as Toula, following her disappearance.
The local community has mobilised to assist in the effort to locate the elderly woman, with residents and authorities maintaining the search for any information that could help establish her whereabouts.
The Kampos Community Council said the search remains a priority and called for the situation to be handled with sensitivity and responsibility as the woman’s family waits for news.
In a statement, the council said all available efforts and attention were being directed towards finding Athanasiou Zizirou and bringing her home safely.
The community has also cancelled a theatrical performance that had been scheduled for Tuesday evening in Kampos square. The cancellation was announced as the search operation continues.
The council apologised to the theatre group Fosithoi, the performers, production team and members of the audience affected by the cancellation, thanking them for their understanding.
The search remains ongoing, with the community expressing hope that Athanasiou Zizirou will be found soon and reunited safely with her family.
