Six defendants plead not guilty in Limassol businessman murder case

Six people accused of involvement in the killing of Limassol businessman Stavros Demosthenous have pleaded not guilty to all charges, as the high-profile murder case moves into its next stage in court.

The six defendants appeared before the Criminal Court on Friday morning, where they were formally presented with 15 charges linked to the October 17, 2025, killing that took place in Limassol.

All six denied the charges against them.

The court scheduled the next phase of proceedings for September, with hearings set to begin on September 8.

The case has drawn wide public attention in Cyprus due to the profile of the victim and the circumstances surrounding the killing, which remains under close scrutiny as the judicial process unfolds.
