Firefighters scrambled late Thursday night after a blaze broke out in a private open-air parking lot in Mouttagiaka, destroying four luxury vehicles, including a Mercedes Benz G63, Porsche 911, Lamborghini Revuelto, and Tesla Model X.

Police said the fire erupted around 11:46 p.m., and the vehicles, valued at between €1 million and €2 million each, were reduced to charred wrecks. Two of the cars belonged to a 40-year-old businessman closely linked to the recently murdered football agent Stavros Demosthenous, while the other two were registered to a 38-year-old and a 21-year-old.

Authorities are combing through nearby CCTV footage as they work to identify the perpetrators. While the motive remains unclear, the fact that the arson targeted the cars of a close associate of Demosthenous has raised alarm and put investigators on high alert.

Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, but the damage was total. Police continue to examine every angle, treating the incident as part of a wider investigation into potential criminal links.
