Heads up, weather fans! A classic seasonal low-pressure diva is currently swirling over the region, but she’s about to be upstaged, at least temporarily, by a hot, sassy warm air mass strutting its way onto the island starting tomorrow.
Today’s forecast:
The sun is in a mostly good mood, so expect largely clear skies, though a few stubborn clouds may pop in uninvited here and there. Winds will be showing off from the southwest to northwest, starting off mild at 3–4 Beaufort (aka "gentle hair-blowing breeze"), but don't get too comfy. These breezes are getting a promotion to moderate and even strong, clocking in at 4–5 Beaufort. The southwest coast will get an extra gusty treat, possibly hitting 5–6 Beaufort.
Sea-wise, it’s a mixed bag:
- Southwest, west, and north coasts: Slightly to moderately rough, so maybe hold off on your seashell meditation.
- Southeast and east coasts: Calm to slightly rough, but even they won’t escape the ripple effect later on.
Temperature check:
- Inland: Sizzling at 37°C (don’t forget to hydrate and avoid hugging metal objects).
- West and southwest coasts: A breezy 30°C.
- Other coastal areas: Around 34°C, great for lazy beach lounging.
- Mountains: A refreshing 30°C. You win this round, altitude!
Tonight:
The stars will be out to shine with mostly clear skies. Some sneaky low clouds may tiptoe in along the west and north coasts. And if you’re out for an early stroll tomorrow morning, you might meet a light mist or fog, just nature’s way of saying “Good morning!”
Winds will mellow out, dropping to a relaxed 3 Beaufort and playing musical chairs with direction later in the night.
The sea will keep its cool, slightly rough in the west and north, and smooth sailing elsewhere.
Temperatures will snuggle down to:
- 24°C inland and along the coast
- A crisp 20°C in the mountain hideaways
The weekend preview:
- Friday: Classic blue skies: sunny, simple, and sweet.
- Saturday & Sunday: Crank up the fans and stock up on ice cream. It's going to be HOT.
In fact, temps will climb higher than your weekend expectations, soaring above seasonal averages and aiming to impress. Stay cool, stay shady (literally), and enjoy the sunny drama in the skies above!
