All Cyprus football leagues will be suspended until the end of the month as part of mounting efforts to contain the coronavirus outbreak, the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) announced on Friday following consultation with UEFA and the state’s health authorities.
Fixtures of all divisions and age groups will be suspended until the end of March, with the measure to be reviewed at a later stage if deemed necessary, the CFA said.
The Assosiation said its priority was to safeguard the health of both players and fans.
The CFA also called on all clubs to limit trainings and other activities.
