Techisland powers up Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit

A high-tech partnership to fuel innovation in the Mediterranean

The Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit is delighted to announce its collaboration with "Techisland" as the primary sponsor of the "Alpha Stage" platform, whose objective is to promote startups in Cyprus and the wider region.

"Techisland" is a non-profit organization established in 2021, with the goal of making Cyprus an appealing destination for attracting technology talent. The organization's members comprise nearly all companies in the technology sector with a presence in Cyprus.

The "Alpha Stage" represents the second stage of the Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit, with its focus on showcasing innovative startups oriented towards AI and offering solutions in the realms of Tourism, Media, Education, and Wellbeing. Startups from Cyprus, Israel, and Greece have been invited to participate in the selection process to determine the four best proposals to be presented during the conference. Venture capitalists specifically invited for this purpose will be in attendance during the presentations. The ultimate winner, receiving a prize of €10,000, will be selected through evaluation by six distinguished assessors, led by former Deputy Minister of Innovation, Kyriakos Kokkinos.

What is the Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit:

#DAcy is a cutting-edge conference held annually in Nicosia during the third week of October. It aims to draw internationally acclaimed speakers from around the globe to address current and future global issues from a regional perspective.

The primary sponsors of DAcy are the Bank of Cyprus and Cyta.

This year, over 20 speakers will present under the thematic umbrella of "The New Normal" on the main stage. Topics covered in the presentations will include Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Development, new media and streaming platforms, the global startup environment, the latest global technology trends, the role of cars as communication platforms, and more.
